New Dismissal in the Ministry of Defense

President Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree to dismiss Jirair Poghosyan from the position of commander of the 1st Army Corps.

“Based on the Prime Minister’s proposal, in accordance with part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution and part 1, clause 10 of Article 40 of the law on 'Military Service and the Status of Military Personnel,' Jirair Poghosyan is dismissed from the position of commander of the 1st Army Corps,” the decree states.
