Will Mkhihtar Hayrapetyan Be Appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs?
According to information received by ArmDaily.am, Mkhihtar Hayrapetyan is set to be appointed as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The media outlet attempted to contact Prime Minister's spokesperson Mane Gevorgyan, but to no avail.
It should be noted that a few days ago, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan appointed former Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. This appointment has sparked considerable discussion, as Grigoryan has previously been noted for his anti-Russian activities.
Following Ara Aivazyan's resignation, all Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs submitted their resignations. Despite the formation of the government, to date, the Prime Minister has not suggested any candidate for the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs to the President for appointment.
