Representatives of the 'Armenia' faction are attempting to drive a wedge in relations with the strategic ally. This was stated by ruling Civil Contract party member Vagharchak Hakobyan during the parliamentary session on August 11.

He called it disgraceful that the opposition cannot come to terms with its defeat in the elections and is doing everything to hasten its political demise. “When criticizing the authorities, don’t forget that under your governance a long-term mass exodus took place from Armenia. Every outrageous behavior will receive due assessment, and every provocation will receive due consideration. And those who urge us to turn to the court may hear expressions like 'Hello, Rob,' 'Murderer,' 'The Rejected,' and others,” Hakobyan added.
