Do Not Succumb to Enemy Provocations and Maintain Composure: Davit Babayan
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has issued a statement today alleging that Armenia has violated the November 9, 2020, trilateral ceasefire agreement in recent days and has concentrated new military forces in Artsakh, adding that the Azerbaijani army will take all necessary measures.
Commenting on this provocative statement from the Azerbaijani side in an interview with Artsakhpress, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, Davit Babayan, stated that the statement from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense is nothing more than a provocative and terrorist act.
“By intimidating the people of Artsakh and killing their faith in the future of Artsakh, the enemy aims to ethnically cleanse Artsakh. Azerbaijan attempts to mask its aggressive actions in various directions by spreading such false statements. It is also possible that, advised by Turkey, the enemy is trying to strike a blow to Armenian-Russian brotherhood, casting a shadow over the mission of the Russian peacekeeping forces in the region. We call on our compatriots not to succumb to enemy provocations and to maintain composure,” the Minister emphasized.
