Azerbaijani Forces Violate Ceasefire in Artsakh, Use Mortar

On August 9, from 16:00 to 22:00, the adversary violated the ceasefire regime in the southwestern (Shosh-Mkhitarashen) sector. In addition to firearms, the Azerbaijani forces also utilized the HM-9 (calibered anti-tank mortar), firing 3 shells towards Armenian positions. This information has been reported by the Artsakh Defense Army.

The Armenian side has not suffered any losses. Relevant information regarding the incident has been provided to the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces.

The command of the Artsakh Defense Army urges the Azerbaijani side to adhere to the agreements reached and to refrain from further actions that could escalate the situation.
