Staff Purge in Syunik Law Enforcement for Working in Favor of Another Political Force
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that details have emerged regarding events taking place in Syunik. In particular, according to our information, representatives of the authorities were aware that during the snap parliamentary elections, law enforcement officials also worked in favor of another political force. This is precisely why a staff purge in the law enforcement system is set to begin in Syunik following the snap parliamentary elections, which will follow the ongoing persecution of community leaders in Syunik.
This is, in essence, the second attempt to showcase the steel mandate in Syunik. In other words, there will be new personnel changes in Syunik in the near future, and dismissals among the leadership of the law enforcement system will occur, certainly linked to their activities during the snap parliamentary elections.
It is important to note that on July 26, investigator Margaryan, who was handling the case of the "thieves in law," was appointed as the head of the Investigative Department of the Syunik region of the RA Investigative Committee.
