Photo: Defense Ministry Presents Type of Drone Shot Down by Armenian Air Defense

As already reported, on July 29, starting from 11:00 PM, attempts were recorded for drones to enter the airspace of Armenia in the Gegharkunik region of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, writes the Ministry of Defense.

The actions of the Armed Forces' air defense units successfully thwarted all attempts. Specifically, a type of drone named 'Aerostar,' part of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces' arsenal, was shot down, with its wreckage falling 3.5 kilometers north of the village of Vanavan in the Gegharkunik region.

We again urge Armenian media outlets and social media users not to spread unverified, especially distorted and panic-inducing information, and to refer to the official statements of the defense ministry.
