Agreement Reached to Reinstate Ceasefire Through Mediation of Russian Peacekeeping Forces: Ministry of Defense

An agreement has been reached regarding the reinstatement of the ceasefire regime along the contact line of the Armenian and Azerbaijani forces in the northeastern direction, mediated by the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

Currently, the mentioned agreement is being largely implemented. During the hostilities initiated by Azerbaijani provocations, both sides have employed small arms and mortars. Moreover, Armenian Armed Forces units responded with mortar fire to the use of mortars by the adversary. There has been no change in the contact line, and the border situation remains under the control of the Armenian Armed Forces.
