Let the Authorities Ensure the Election of an Opposition Candidate for Deputy Speaker of Parliament: Vanetsyan

Arthur Vanetsyan, the leader of the "I Have Honor" faction, expressed confidence today, August 5, during a press conference in the National Assembly, that there are no members within his faction who would vote against or invalidate a ballot paper. He hopes such individuals also do not exist within the "Armenia" faction.

Addressing the question of why Ishkhan Saghatelyan has failed to be elected Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly for the second time, Vanetsyan stated, "I can confidently say that there are no such people. The responsibility for electing a third Deputy Speaker lies with the authorities; it is a burden on the authorities. If the authorities want the National Assembly to be formed and operate normally, they should ensure the election of an opposition candidate for Deputy Speaker of the Assembly."
