High-Level Fire Hazard Conditions Expected in Armenia, Ministry of Emergency Situations

High-level fire hazard conditions are present and expected in the Ararat Plain and foothills, in the foothills of Vayots Dzor, the valley regions of Syunik, and in Yerevan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia reports.

Throughout the republic, during the daytime of August 4, and on the 5th and 6th, dry weather is forecasted. From the afternoon of August 7 to the 9th, isolated areas are expected to experience rain and thunderstorms, with possible hail in certain regions.

The wind will be south-west at a speed of 5-10 m/s, with gusts of 15-20 m/s expected during thunderstorms.

The air temperature will gradually rise by 3-4 degrees Celsius during the daytime of August 4, and on the 5th and 6th.

In Yerevan, dry weather is anticipated during the daytime on August 4, 5, 6, and 8-9. In the evening of August 7, isolated areas may see brief rain and thunderstorms, with wind gusts of 18-20 m/s possible during thunderstorms.
