22 Days Without Finding Two Missing Soldiers from Syunik: What the Ministry of Defense Says
22 days have passed without successfully locating two soldiers missing from Syunik. Search operations continue, but have been fruitless.
On July 14, due to fog, unarmed soldiers Arthur Nalbandyan and driver Aramais Torozyan went missing, and their whereabouts remain unknown. The Ministry of Defense informed Factinfo that there is still no information about the soldiers, and search efforts have not ceased.
The search for the soldiers also involves the Russian side. The possibility that they may have ended up on the Azerbaijani side has been discussed since the very first day.
Earlier, it was reported that on the morning of July 14, during foggy conditions, communication was lost with soldier Arthur Nalbandyan and driver Aramais Torozyan while they were fulfilling their duties with an attached military vehicle at the military unit deployed in the southeastern direction of the Republic of Armenia.
