Russia Ready to Continue Constructive Dialogue: Putin Congratulates Pashinyan
Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his reappointment as Prime Minister of Armenia. “I hope that the activities of your government will contribute to the further development of Russian-Armenian friendly and allied relations, as well as to strengthening peace, security, and stability in the South Caucasus,” reads the congratulatory message from the Russian president.
Vladimir Putin noted that Russia is ready to continue constructive dialogue and joint work on current bilateral and regional agenda issues.
Pashinyan's activities will contribute to the development of Armenia, Kazakh President Tokayev has also congratulated the Prime Minister.
It is worth reminding that the President of the Republic of Armenia immediately appoints the Prime Minister from the candidate proposed by the parliamentary majority formed in accordance with Article 89 of the Constitution after the new National Assembly's powers take effect.
