US Orders 24 Russian Diplomats to Leave by September 3, Most Will Depart Without Replacement

The United States has handed over a list of 24 diplomats to the Russian side, who are expected to leave the country by September 3 due to expiring visas. This was reported by Anatoly Antonov, Russia's ambassador to Washington, in an interview with National Interest.

“We have received a list of 24 diplomats who are expected to leave the country by September 3, 2021. Almost all of them will depart without replacement, as Washington has suddenly tightened the visa issuance process,” the ambassador stated.
