Relatives of Shirak Prisoners Hand Over Document Package to French Ambassador

On August 2, the relatives of those captured from the Shirak region presented a report by the Human Rights Defender to the French Ambassador Jonathan Lacoty, detailing the crimes committed by Azerbaijan.

“We are providing facts to the ambassador so that he can convey our concerns to his superiors. Our demand is for the prompt return of all prisoners of war. They must explain the basis on which they condemn the captives in peacetime,” noted Sedrak Soghomonyan, whose son has been sentenced to six years in prison.
