Makunts Appointed Armenia's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the USA for Four Years

President Armen Sarkissian signed a new decree on August 2, stating: “Based on the Prime Minister’s proposal, in accordance with part 2 of Article 132 of the Constitution: Lilith Makunts is appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America for a term of four years (residence: Washington),” the decree reads.
