Tragic Incident: Man Approximately 30 Years Old Jumps Off Bridge in Yerevan

A tragic incident occurred today in Yerevan. Around 08:30, the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service received a call reporting that a citizen had jumped off the Davtashen bridge.

Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene, noting that the Emergency Situations Ministry's Davtashen Fire and Rescue Brigade arrived promptly with one firefighting unit. An operational group from the Mashtots Police Division, led by Division Head Andranik Shahbazyan, also arrived on the scene.

Patrol officers from the Yerevan Police Department also responded quickly. Police and rescuers discovered the body of a man, approximately 30 years old, beneath the Davtashen bridge.

The information about the incident was relayed from the Mashtots Police Division to the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan Investigative Division, with a team led by Division Head Arman Baghdasaryan and Senior Investigator Artyom Badalyan assigned to investigate the case. The police and investigative division are working to determine the identity of the deceased.
