Tragic Accident: UAZ Rolls into Gorge, 31-Year-Old Driver Dies at the Scene

A fatal car accident occurred in the Tavush region yesterday. Around 21:20, a call was received at the Dilijan police station from the Dilijan medical center reporting that a medical team had been dispatched to Khachardzan village, where a man's body was discovered, according to shamshyan.com.

Upon arrival at the scene, police officers and investigators determined that the deceased was 31-year-old Sergey Movsisyan, a resident of the same village. He was driving an unregistered UAZ vehicle on a forest road leading from Khachardzan village towards the mountains when the car rolled backward and overturned, tumbling into the gorge, resulting in his immediate death.

The police, investigators, and doctors approached the accident site on foot for approximately 800 meters due to the impassable road conditions.
