Earthquake Strikes Turkey

This morning, a 5.5 magnitude earthquake occurred off the southwestern coast of Turkey, according to the country's emergency management agency.

The earthquake struck near the town of Datça in Muğla province at 7:31 AM local time. The epicenter of the natural disaster was located at a depth of 14.85 km. Turkey's Deputy Minister of Interior Ismail Catakli noted on his Twitter page that there have been no reports of destruction or casualties so far, according to Anadolu.
