World No. 1 Novak Djokovic Fails to Secure Individual Medal at Tokyo Olympic Games

World No. 1, Serbian Novak Djokovic failed to win the bronze medal in the men's singles event at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

In the match for third place, Djokovic lost to Spanish player Pablo Carreño Busta with scores of 4-6, 7-6 (8-6), 3-6. The match lasted 2 hours and 49 minutes.

The gold medal in Tokyo 2020 will be contested between our compatriot, representing Russia, Karen Khachanov, and German player Alexander Zverev.

It is worth noting that the 34-year-old Djokovic is a bronze medalist from the Beijing Olympic Games.
