Gunshots in Yerevan: 3 Suspects are Brothers

Gunshots were heard today in Yerevan. The senior inspector of the community police department of the Nor Nork Police, H. Sargsyan, received operational information that gunshots had occurred early in the morning in the back of the "Palas" shopping center located in Nor Nork.

According to Shamshyan.com, officers from the Nor Nork Police quickly arrived at the scene, where they discovered that 31-year-old Babken M., 29-year-old Sergey S., 38-year-old Vahe M., and 36-year-old Petros M. from Yerevan had been arguing over domestic issues with 36-year-old Arman H. and 61-year-old Arthur D. This argument escalated into a brawl, with mutual blows exchanged.

During this altercation, Arman H. fired several shots into the air from a firearm he had with him. Nor Nork police apprehended Babken M., Sergey S., Vahe M., Petros M., Arman H., and Arthur D. shortly after the incident.

A Walther type handgun was also found in the possession of Arman H.

Investigations are currently underway at the investigative department of the Nor Nork Police regarding the incident. According to preliminary information, no injuries from gunfire were reported.

According to G. Shamshyan, among the apprehended, Babken, Vahe, and Petros M. are biological brothers.
