Major Car Accident and Fire in Yerevan: Opel Reduced to Ashes, Driver Rescued by Bystanders

On July 30, a car accident followed by a fire occurred in Yerevan. Around 22:40, an Opel vehicle left the roadway under still unclear circumstances and ended up in a non-traffic area on Ashtarak Highway.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a fire broke out in the vehicle. Bystanders managed to pull the driver out of the car, and the emergency medical team that arrived promptly transported him to the Armenia Medical Center.

The police are currently determining the identity of the driver admitted to the hospital. Further details will be available on the website.
