Erdogan Declares Disaster Zones in Regions Affected by Forest Fires
Due to forest fires, the Turkish city of Antalya has been declared a disaster zone. This announcement was made by President Erdogan during a broadcast on TRT World on Saturday, July 31.
The Turkish president also declared disaster zones in four other provinces: Muğla, Mersin, Adana, and Osmaniye.
As reported by Anadolu, the death toll from the forest fires in Turkey has reached six. The bodies of two workers who took part in extinguishing the forest fire in the Manavgat region have been found deceased.
