We Have No Compromise Path Regarding Our Territorial Integrity: Nazeli Baghdasaryan

Every citizen of Armenia is concerned about the situation we have at the border. This was stated today, on July 30, by Nazeli Baghdasaryan, a member of the "My Step" faction during an extraordinary session of the National Assembly.

“Let's state the fact that the entire responsibility for the situation lies with the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan, and it is clear that they are deliberately escalating the situation by resorting to provocative actions. Since May 12, the armed units of Azerbaijan, which are present in the sovereign territory of Armenia, have been clearly engaging in provocative actions in recent days. All of this violates the trilateral agreements, but Armenia and the Armenian authorities are determined to take steps that will ensure security and peace in the region.

We must sadly note that as a result of such provocative actions, human lives are being sacrificed. On behalf of all the deputies, I express my condolences and sympathy to the families of our fallen soldiers, but I also emphasize our determination that we have no compromise path regarding our territorial integrity. In this regard, I urge international organizations to take clear, effective actions,” she stated.
