Video: Suspects Arrested for Arson in Turkey
Suspects have been arrested in the city of Manavgat, Turkey, over forest arson, according to Anadolu, referencing the country's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. Law enforcement officials reported that one of the alleged perpetrators was caught in the act of starting a fire. Citizens demanded that the suspect be handed over for vigilante justice. Following these demands, Çavuşoğlu had to visit the scene of the incident. He stated that all culprits would be held accountable.
It is worth noting that during the effort to combat the fires that erupted in various regions of Turkey, 71 out of 80 fire outbreaks have already been contained. According to recent data, 180 people have been injured due to the fires, and four fatalities have been confirmed.
