VIDEO: Am I the kind of person who fears journalists? - Alen Simonian
A decision has been made to raise the level of security. This is not the only decision, and there will be further changes aimed at making the National Assembly building even more secure.
This was stated by Alen Simonian, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, during a press briefing, responding to discussions about a project that would restrict journalists' movement within the National Assembly.
When asked if they are afraid of journalists, leading to the decision to limit their movement, Simonian responded, “Am I the kind of person who fears journalists? The reasons are security-related; it’s not about specific journalists or individuals. New rules will be implemented aimed at ensuring security,” he said, adding, “More details can be found in the Tert.am video.”
