Simply put, there was no destruction of UAVs. Tigran Abrahamyan
According to the Ministry of Defense, starting from 23:00 on July 29, the air defense units of the Armed Forces of Armenia have halted attempts by UAVs to enter the airspace of Armenia in the Gegharkunik region of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. This was stated by military expert Tigran Abrahamyan.
"Simply put, there was no destruction of UAVs, but due to the presence and activation of the appropriate systems, Azerbaijani UAVs have managed to avoid penetrating deep into the country or were present in our area for a short period. I believe that the sounds of explosions recorded in the Vardenis area in this case were related to the missiles fired by the air defense systems, and not to the destroyed UAVs. Even if there is no destruction of a UAV, as inferred from the Ministry of Defense's statement, it has at least been possible to halt the enemy's reconnaissance activities," he stated.
