Major Car Accident in Kotayk Region: One Injured

Today, July 30, a major car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. At around 13:40, vehicles collided head-on in front of the "Shangrila" casino on the Yerevan-Sevan highway: a Mercedes G 63, license plate 10 QC 777, and an Opel, license plate 36 XR 485.

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, one person received first aid from doctors who arrived from the Abovyan Medical Center and was subsequently transported to the same hospital.

The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured party. Preliminary information suggests that the driver of the Mercedes G 63 was at fault, having crossed into oncoming traffic while heading towards Yerevan, resulting in a collision with the Opel.
