Calm After Drones, But Now Settlements Have Become Targets, Says Geghamasar Mayor

In the morning, the Ministry of Defense announced that the RA Air Defense units had thwarted attempts by Azerbaijani drones to enter the airspace of Armenia in the Gegharkunik area.

In an interview with 168.am, Hakob Avetyan, the mayor of Geghamasar, stated that residential areas are currently under the adversary's targets.

“It is calm now after the drones. There is nothing positive at this moment. However, you are already aware of the incidents from the night; the Turks still do not change their arrogant behavior; they have now become the target of residential areas. Their actions are directed towards residential areas. Our Air Defense was able to destroy two drones; now we will see what else happens,” said Hakob Avetyan in the interview with the media.
