Record low temperatures have been recorded in several regions of Brazil, resulting in snowfall across the country. According to international news reports, even colder weather is expected to follow.

The cold front reached Brazil on Wednesday, with record low temperatures reported in Campo Grande and Florianópolis. Snow fell in more than 10 cities in the state of Santa Catarina, prompting locals to take to the streets to enjoy the extraordinary sight. Additionally, snowfall was recorded in 30 other cities across another state, where temperatures have dropped below 0 degrees Celsius.
