Russia Should Not Worry About Turkish Weapons Supplied to Ukraine: Erdoğan's Advisor
Russia should not be concerned about the weapons supplied from Turkey to Ukraine, said Mujahed Kucuyukylmaz, senior advisor to the President of Turkey, in an interview with RIA Novosti. Sputnik Armenia reports.
“By normalizing relations with one country, Turkey does not create problems in its relations with another. We distinguish between apples and pears. Turkey has the capability and diplomatic skills to maintain multilateral communications and relationships with different countries simultaneously. We will continue our relations with various countries in accordance with our needs and interests. Our allies, friends, and those we cooperate with should not worry about this matter,” he stated.
It is noteworthy that at the beginning of April, the Turkish producer of Bayraktar drones announced that Ukraine had purchased their systems. Moscow indicated that this was not a pleasant piece of news, but Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu assured that the deal is not directed against Russia.
