31 Head of Cattle Crossed into Area Near Lake Sevan Overnight
Thirty-one head of cattle belonging to residents of the village of Hartashen in the Syunik province crossed into the area adjacent to Lake Sevan last night. This area is currently designated as a neutral zone, with Azerbaijani forces stationed nearby, as noted by the village's administrative leader, Armen Khachatryan, in an interview with Tert.am.
"Thanks to the efforts of the military corps command, by 5:00 PM today, those 31 head of cattle have been returned to their owners," he stated.
Khachatryan also mentioned that an additional 10 head of cattle are currently lost, making recovery difficult due to fog. However, it is still unclear whether the animals have crossed into the part of Lake Sevan where Azerbaijani troops are stationed or not.
