The periodic gunfire from the Azerbaijani armed forces grossly violates the right to life and health of civilian residents in the villages of Gegharkunik, disrupts peaceful living, and obstructs agricultural activities. This was stated by the Human Rights Defender, Arman Tatoyan.

"The Azerbaijani authorities bear responsibility for the killing of three Armenian servicemen in Gegharkunik today, for violating their right to life, and for harming the health of injured servicemen," he noted.
