Turkey and Azerbaijan in Talks to Establish 'Turkic' Joint Army
Turkey and Azerbaijan are in discussions about the establishment of a 'Turkic' joint army. This information was reported by Sputnik Azerbaijan, citing a statement from the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Mustafa Sentop.
Sentop revealed plans for joint military drills being conducted within the framework of agreements between the two countries. “Our idea is one nation, two states. And it will always be so. In this regard, numerous negotiations and agreements have taken place,” he said.
Sentop also commented on the tension along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, stating that it poses a security threat to the region and could lead to a new war. He emphasized that Turkey will always support Azerbaijan.
