Two Azerbaijanis Sentenced to Death in Iran

The Supreme Court of Iran has upheld the death sentence for two Azerbaijanis charged with insulting Muhammad.

Reports indicate that Youssef Mehrad was arrested on April 24, 2021, in Ardabil and has been placed in a prison in Erak, where he awaited the Supreme Court's decision. The date of execution has not been disclosed.
