Number of Flood Victims in Belgium Rises to 41

The number of victims from the floods in Belgium continues to rise. According to RIA Novosti, the death toll has reached 41. Since the disaster that occurred on July 14-15, two people are still reported missing.

"Out of the 262 municipalities in Wallonia, 202 will receive assistance as areas affected by the natural disaster. This demonstrates the scale of the catastrophe," stated the head of the Wallonia region, Elio di Rupo.

Earlier reports from the media indicated 37 fatalities.
