I filed a report regarding criminal actions by police to the 1-02 service. This was stated by lawyer Yerem Sargsyan on his Facebook page.

“The report regarding criminal actions by police was submitted to the 1-02 service. By law, the report should have been forwarded to the Special Investigative Service of the Republic of Armenia, but the prosecutor's office, in gross violation of the law, sent it to the police to check whether there was a disciplinary violation or not. They have already decided that there is no crime.

Of course, the goal is to delay time to destroy evidence, but I should say that at least the prosecutor's office, which has concocted new laws, will also have a problem with official negligence. No worries, I have plenty of evidence. It is clear that this wouldn’t happen if it were not related to the offenses committed against Mikayel Zakaryan, the former head of the Meghri community,” Sargsyan wrote.
