Baku Declaration Signed by Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Pakistan

The presidents of the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Pakistan have signed the Baku Declaration following a trilateral meeting, according to haqqin.az.

As reported, the declaration was signed by the President of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova, the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mustafa Sentop, and the President of Pakistan's National Assembly, Asad Qaiser.

Gafarova noted that the Baku Declaration would contribute to strengthening the strategic ties between the three countries.

Sentop stated that the Baku Declaration would promote security in the region. He added that this document will play an important role in the institutionalization of trilateral relations.

Earlier, it was reported that a trilateral platform for cooperation between the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Pakistan is being established.
