Garegin Miskaryan Also Leaves the Citizens' Decision Party, Unaware of Suren Sahakyan's Reasons

Garegin Miskaryan, a member of the executive body of the Citizens' Decision Social-Democratic Party, has made a statement indicating that he too has left the party.

“Dear journalists and friends, since I informed the party of my decision to leave the Citizens' Decision Social-Democratic Party a few days ago, I was not present at yesterday's general meeting of the party. I briefly entered the office, submitted my application to suspend my membership to the secretary of the governing body, and exited. Therefore, I am not aware of any developments that took place and the announcement about Suren's departure from the party was as surprising to me as it was to you. I have not spoken personally with Suren and know as much about the reasons as you do from his statement. Please direct any inquiries related to Suren to him. I am only responsible for my own decisions. Thank you for your understanding,” the statement reads.

It is also worth noting that Suren Sahakyan has submitted a request to terminate his membership in the Citizens' Decision Social-Democratic Party.
