An Earthquake Recorded in Armenia

On July 26, at 18:59 local time (14:59 GMT), the seismic monitoring network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded an earthquake in the coordinates of 40.82° latitude and 44.31° longitude, approximately 4 km southeast of the town of Spitak in the Lori Province, at a depth of 10 km, with a magnitude of 2.2.

The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral area reached 2-3 points. The earthquake was felt in the cities of Vanadzor and Spitak in the Lori Province, as well as in the villages of Nor Khachakap and Arjahovit, with an intensity of 2 points.
