Turkey Builds Wall on Iran Border to Curb Migrant Flow from Afghanistan
Turkey has constructed a wall along its border with Iran in order to counter the influx of Afghan migrants fleeing the Taliban's advance. As part of its efforts to secure its borders, Turkey has built a protective wall of 836 km along its border with Syria and a 135 km wall on its border with Iran.
