VIDEO. A Group of Individuals Voluntarily Surrender Firearms and Munitions to Police Stations in the Regions

Thanks to the explanatory work of the police officers in Sisian, on July 21, a resident of Sisian voluntarily surrendered a folding stock "Kalashnikov" assault rifle.

The explanatory efforts of the police divisions of Vayots Dzor region, particularly in Yeghegnadzor and Vayk, were also effective. At the Yeghegnadzor division, a "Kalashnikov" assault rifle, a magazine, and cartridges were surrendered, while at the Vayk division, incidents of voluntary surrender of a "Carabine" rifle, a magazine, and cartridges were recorded.

Additionally, due to the explanatory work of the Artashat police, a resident of Verin Artashat village surrendered "TOZ" and "IZH" type rifles along with 37 cartridges of various calibers. The police of the special task force from the Aparan division also conducted explanatory work, resulting in a resident of Aparan city surrendering a grenade launcher shell, grenade detonators, and assault rifle cartridges.

Expert examinations have been appointed. We urge individuals to voluntarily surrender illegal weapons and munitions to the police to avoid criminal liability.
