Nissan Car Skids off the Road in Dilijan and Falls into a Gorge, Injuries Reported

A serious car accident occurred today in the Tavush region. Around 6:00 PM, Mariam Sh., a 59-year-old resident of Lori province, lost control of her Nissan vehicle on the 84th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, in the Dilijan twisties. The car skidded off the road and fell into a gorge, crashing into trees, according to shamshyan.com.

As a result of the accident, Mariam Sh. was transported to the 'Dilijan' medical center. Emergency rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Tavush regional rescue service, along with one firefighting unit, promptly arrived at the scene. Investigations are underway regarding the incident.
