Urgent: Tensions Continue at the Armenian-Azerbaijani Border as of 23:00, Ministry of Defense

On the evening of July 19, the Azerbaijani armed forces began shelling Armenian positions located in the Yeraskh area of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The shelling, which started at 18:40, continued for several hours using various calibers of firearms, and mortars were also periodically deployed.

As of 23:00, the situation remains tense. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia once again warns that any border provocations will be met with a strong response, and full responsibility for the escalation of the situation lies with the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan.
