Bodies of 4 Soldiers Recovered

Rescue teams have discovered and recovered the remains of four soldiers (volunteers, reservists) who were considered lost or killed during military operations in the Varanda (Fizuli) region today. This was reported by the Artsakh Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Their identities will be confirmed in the Republic of Armenia following forensic examination.

From November 13, 2020, to July 23, 2021, a total of 1,615 bodies have been recovered from territories of Artsakh that came under Azerbaijani control.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations will provide additional information regarding future search directions and results.
