Azerbaijani Irregular Gunfire Continues in Gegharkunik Region: Ministry of Defense

Azerbaijani irregular gunfire continues intermittently in the Gegharkunik section of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

"There is no intensive firefight, but irregular gunfire can be heard," officials from the ministry stated.

In other directions, the situation remains normal and relatively stable. It is noteworthy that earlier, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced that there was intensive gunfire between the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan in the Karvachar region.
