Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry Issues Statement: Casualty Reported

On July 23, around 16:00, units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire at Azerbaijani military positions located at the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border in the Kelbajar region, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reports.

As a result of sniper fire, a serviceman of the Azerbaijani army, Yagublu Farman Telman oglu, was killed. It is important to emphasize that this is not the first time the Azerbaijani side has provoked incidents at the border and attempted to place blame on the Armenian side.
