25-Year-Old Passenger Dies After Tragic Accident on Yerevan-Ijevan Highway

On July 16, around 14:40, a "Gazelle" vehicle veered off the road at the 77th kilometer of the Yerevan-Ijevan highway, crashed into the barrier, fell into a ravine, and caught fire. Both the 21-year-old driver and the 25-year-old passenger were transported to the hospital with bodily injuries.

On July 22, the hospital informed the police that the passenger, 25-year-old Hayk Poghosyan, had died due to injuries sustained in the accident. An investigation is underway.
