22-Year-Old Driver Hits 24-Year-Old Pedestrian with BMW in Ararat Region, Fatal Incident

On July 23, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 1:00 AM, 22-year-old Harutyun Harutyunyan, a resident of Masis, struck 24-year-old Tigran Khllghatyan from Yerevan while driving a BMW on the 10th kilometer of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway.

According to photoreporter Gagik Shamshyan at the scene, the injured pedestrian died on the spot. The driver did not flee the scene and called for an ambulance; however, the emergency medical team that arrived promptly pronounced the pedestrian dead.
