Lukashenko Transfers Part of His Powers to the Government

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has signed a decree transferring half of his presidential powers related to the privatization of state property to the government and local self-government bodies.

According to a statement from the press service of the Belarusian president, “The functions of agreeing on the issuance of additional shares for the privatization of agricultural processing LLCs have been transferred from the head of state to the government.”
