Driver Dies in Accident Involving Mercedes Benz C180 in Sevan

On July 22, 2021, at 01:35, an unknown individual called the operational management center of the Police of the Republic of Armenia to report an accident on the Sevan-Yerevan highway, from Tsovaghyugh towards Sevan. This was announced by the Investigative Committee.

According to the preliminary investigation materials prepared by the Sevan investigative division of the Gegharkunik regional investigative department of the Republic of Armenia's Investigative Committee, it has been established that on the same day, around 01:20, a 32-year-old resident of Masis city lost control of his Mercedes Benz C180 vehicle on the 70 km section of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, veering off the roadway and overturning, resulting in his death.

Investigators conducted an examination of the accident scene, and forensic medical and automotive technical examinations have been appointed. An investigation is ongoing.
